These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale (together with the documents referred to below, including the Terms and Conditions of Use, the Return Policy, and the Privacy Policy) of products on our website www.castellodicigognola.com

1.1 Castello di Cigognola offers products for sale on castellodicigognola.com and its e-commerce services are available exclusively to end users, i.e., “consumers”.
1.2 For the purposes of these Terms, a “consumer” is any natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession. If you are not a consumer, please do not purchase any products on castellodicigognola.com.
1.3 Castello di Cigognola reserves the right not to process orders received from users who are not consumers and any other order that does not comply with Castello di Cigognola’s commercial policy.
1.4 These Terms and Conditions of Sale (together with the documents referenced herein) govern the offer, submission, and acceptance of purchase orders for products on castellodicigognola.com between users and Castello di Cigognola.
1.5 These Terms and Conditions of Sale do not govern the provision of services or the sale of products by third parties present on castellodicigognola.com through links, banners, or other hyperlinks. Before placing orders and purchasing products or services from third parties, we recommend that you verify their terms and conditions, as Castello di Cigognola cannot, in any case, be held liable for the provision of services by third parties or for the execution of e-commerce transactions between users of castellodicigognola.com and third parties.
2. HOW TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE SELLER
2.1 To place an order for the purchase of one or more products on castellodicigognola.com, you must complete the online order form and submit it electronically to Castello di Cigognola, following the relevant instructions.
2.2 The order form contains a summary of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as information on the essential characteristics of each product ordered and its unit price (including all applicable taxes and duties), the payment methods available to purchase each product, the shipping methods for the purchased products, shipping and delivery costs, and the return procedure for purchased products.
2.3 An order is deemed to be submitted when Castello di Cigognola receives your order form electronically and the order information has been verified.
2.4 Before submitting the order, you will be asked to carefully read these Terms and Conditions of Sale and accept them by clicking the acceptance button.
2.5 The order form will be stored in our database for the time necessary to process it and in compliance with applicable law.
2.6 Before submitting the order, you will be asked to identify and correct any data entry errors.
2.7 After submitting the order form, Castello di Cigognola will process the order.
2.8 Castello di Cigognola may refuse to process the order if there are insufficient guarantees of solvency, if orders are incomplete or incorrect, or if the products are no longer available. In such cases, we will inform you by email that the order has not been executed, specifying the reasons. If the order has been submitted and the price has already been paid for products that are no longer available, Castello di Cigognola will refund the amounts paid for such products.
2.9 By submitting the order form and entering into a contract with Castello di Cigognola, the customer unconditionally accepts and undertakes to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Sale. If you are not willing to accept any of these provisions, please do not submit the order form to purchase products on castellodicigognola.com.
2.10 By submitting the order form, you agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale of castellodicigognola.com, also via links, including the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy of castellodicigognola.com.
2.11 Upon submission of the order form, Castello di Cigognola will send you an order receipt by email containing a summary of the information relating to your order.
3. WARRANTIES AND PRODUCT PRICING
3.1 The main characteristics of products are shown on castellodicigognola.com on each product page. Products offered for sale on castellodicigognola.com may not correspond exactly to the actual products in terms of images and colours due to the internet browser or monitor used.
3.2 Products sold on the website are covered by the statutory conformity warranty pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005. This warranty is provided exclusively to consumers.
3.3 Prices may be subject to change and shall be those indicated from time to time on castellodicigognola.com, except in cases of manifest error. Please verify the final sale price before submitting the relevant order form.
3.4 Orders placed from a country different from the shipping country or to addresses where shipping is not possible will be automatically cancelled.
4. PAYMENTS
Payment of product prices and related shipping and delivery costs must be made using one of the methods indicated in the order form.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS
We deliver our products in Italy.
We use the following couriers: TNT / SDA / GLS.
The courier is selected based on availability at the time of shipment in order to ensure the agreed delivery times: maximum 3–4 working days.
Bottles will be shipped in protective shock-proof packaging to ensure their safety.
Please note that delivery times are indicative only and are calculated from the shipping date. Castello di Cigognola accepts no responsibility for customs clearance delays, but undertakes to minimise any inconvenience.
Shipping costs are as follows: EUR 15.00 for orders up to EUR 150.00; for orders over EUR 150.00, shipping is free of charge.
The purchase order already includes the cost of taxes; therefore, upon receipt of the goods no additional fees are due. The amount of excise duty paid by Castello di Cigognola will be shown as a separate item in the cart and paid at checkout.
After placing an order, the customer will receive an email containing all purchase details. If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact Castello di Cigognola. Shipping is carried out within 72 hours (Monday to Friday) from the order date for products available for immediate delivery. As soon as the parcel is handed over to the courier, online tracking begins and an estimated delivery date is provided. The customer can track delivery progress by accessing the courier’s tracking page via the link sent by Castello di Cigognola.

7. CONSUMER RIGHTS AND COOLING-OFF PERIOD
7.1 In accordance with consumer protection legislation, you may exercise your right of withdrawal without penalty and without providing any reason, by notifying Castello di Cigognola within fourteen (14) days from the date you received the products from castellodicigognola.com.
7.2 You must return the products purchased to Castello di Cigognola within fourteen (14) days from the date you informed Castello di Cigognola of the cancellation, in the same condition in which the products were received. You are legally required to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. If you fail to do so, Castello di Cigognola may seek compensation from you.
7.3 To return products:
a) You must notify us in writing within fourteen (14) days (from the date of receipt of the products) by emailing our Customer Service at info@castellodicigognola.com
. We recommend keeping a copy of the cancellation notice;
b) Products must not have been used, opened, or damaged;
c) Products must be returned in their original packaging;
d) Products must be shipped to Castello di Cigognola, Strada vicinale del Pozzetto, snc, 27040 – Cigognola (PV), Italy, within fourteen (14) working days from the date of withdrawal from the contract.
7.4 If you decide to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days from receipt of the products, you must return the products within the following fourteen (14) days from the date of withdrawal. If these Terms and Conditions are complied with, we will refund all amounts due to you for the purchase of the products as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days from receipt of the products at our warehouse or, if earlier, from the day you provide proof that the return shipment has been made.

10. CHANGES AND UPDATES
These Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time following the entry into force of new laws and regulations, or for other reasons. The new Terms and Conditions of Sale will be effective from the date of publication on castellodicigognola.com.
