Vinification: maceration of 15 days

Alcoholic fermentation: in stainless steel

Malolactic fermentation: carried out in wood

Refinement: In wood, 28 hl French oak barrels, for 30 months where malolactic fermentation took place. after bottling, 24 months of aging in bottle

Alcohol content: 14,5 %

 

SENSORIAL ANALYSIS

The typically transparent red color anticipates hints of red fruit and leather to the nose; in the mouth the balsamic and the structure elegantly integrated with the wood, unmistakably lead back to the variety, Nebbiolo, and to the territory of Oltrepo Pavese.
